Author Guidelines
In submitting the manuscript to the Indonesian Hospital Administration Journal (ARSI), the author must provide a special note that the manuscript must comply with all style requirements of the ARSI Journal (Indonesian Hospital Administration). Authors must follow the terms of citations and references, figures, and tables. Manuscripts that do not follow the style requirements of the Indonesian Hospital Administration Journal (ARSI) may be returned to the author for modification.

Component Article/Manuscript
The contents of the manuscript must be arranged in the following structural order: Title in English and language, authorship; abstract, keywords, introduction; method; results; discussion; conclusion; acknowledgment (if any); and references
Title Page
The title page must contain the following items:
- The title of the manuscript written in Indonesian and English cannot be more than 20 words, does not contain abbreviations or numeric values. The title should not summarize the results or conclusions but instead describe the research or topic of the paper
- State the author's full name. Do not write with a professional title and position
- List the affiliations of all authors including: name of department, agency, city, state/province, and country.
- Correspondence author's name, full address for the delivery service, telephone number, email address, and mobile number of the author responsible for the correspondence regarding the manuscript.
- Short running titles, not exceeding 50 characters and spaces. Acknowledgments, including grant information.
- Declaration of competing financial interests
Abstract
Abstracts are written in Indonesian and English with a word limit of 100 to 200 words. It must be arranged in one paragraph covering the problem, objectives, methods, results, and discussion accompanied by 3-8 keywords. References are not allowed in this part of the manuscript.
Main Text
Manuscripts must be written using a word processor (MS Word or Open Office) in a structured order as introduction, method, results, discussion and conclusion. Manuscripts are prepared using Times New Roman font with 12 point size. Manuscripts must be double-spaced with all margins set at 3 cm and limited to 5000 words. Manuscript pages must be numbered sequentially, starting with the title page.
Introduction
Contains background, a brief review of relevant literature and research objectives.
Methods
Includes design, population, sample, data sources, data collection techniques/instruments, and data analysis procedures.
Results
Are research findings and should be clear and concise without being opinionated. Tables and figures are included in the results. It should be limited to six tables or images with short titles. Tables/figures are typed with single spacing and numbered sequentially according to their appearance in the text
Discussion
Matching research results appropriately and argumentatively with previous relevant theories and findings.
Conclusions
And suggestions to answer research problems do not exceed the capacity of the findings. Suggestions refer to goals and conclusions that are logical and precise.
References
Must be prepared using Harvard style. Please use a Reference Manager Application such as EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, etc. Only cite scientific publications that you read and current journal references. Write the six authors' last names and first initials, the rest of the authors followed by "et al (et al)". Reference numbers must be numbered sequentially. The first letter of the reference title is written in capital letters, the rest is lowercase, except for the name of the person, place and time. Titles should not be underlined or bold
Submission
Manuscripts must be submitted in one of the following ways:
- Submissions should be made using the online submission system on the ARSI Journal E-Journal portal (http://journal.fkm.ui.ac.id/arsi/about/submissions#onlineSubmissions);
- The author registers as an author (check the role as an author in the "Register" or address (http://journal.fkm.ui.ac.id/arsi/user/register);
- After logging in as the author, click "New Submission". The stages of submitting articles consist of 5 stages, (1). Start, (2). Upload Submissions, (3). Enter Metadata, (4). upload Additional Files, (5). Confirmation;
- In the start section, select Journal Section (full article), check all checklists.
- In the upload submit, please upload the MS Word article manuscript file in this section.
- In Enter Metadata, enter data for all authors and affiliations, followed by the title and abstract, and indexing keywords.
- In Uploading Complementary Files, it is permitted to upload supporting data files or certificates or other documents.
- In the Confirmation section, please click "Finish Submission" if all data is correct;
- If the author experiences difficulties in the process of submitting a manuscript through the system, the manuscript can also be sent via email to jurnalarsi@gmail.com, but this method is not recommended.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission has not been previously published, nor has it been before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in the Comments to Editors).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- If available, a URL for reference has been provided.
The text is single-spaced; use 12 point font; use italics instead of underscores (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures and tables are placed within the text at appropriate points, not at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographical requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which are found in About the Journal.
If submitting to the peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring Blind Review have been followed.
