Efektifitas Metode Participatory Learning Terhadap Peningkatan Literasi Kesehatan pada Masa Pandemi COVID-19

Abstract

Latar Belakang. Pandemi COVID-19 memunculkan masalah baru lainnya, yaitu infodemik tentang COVID-19. Perilaku individu dalam mencegah penularan COVID-19 dipengaruhi oleh tingkat literasi kesehatannya. Mahasiswa merupakan kelompok yang diharapkan memiliki literasi kesehatan yang baik. Namun, data menunjukkan proporsi yang cukup tinggi pada mahasiswa memiliki tingkat literasi kesehatan kurang.Tujuan. Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji efektivitas intervensi metode participatory learning berbasis website terhadap literasi kesehatan pada mahasiswa di masa pandemi COVID-19.Metode. Desain penelitian adalah experimental design, pretest-posttest control group with randomization design. Sampel penelitian dipilih secara acak dari 6 universitas di Solo Raya yang telah mengisi kuesioner skrining literasi kesehatan eHEALS. Jumlah sampel pada kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol masing-masing sebabnyak 41 responden dan analisis data menggunakan uji T-Test.Hasil. Intervensi metode participatory learning berbasis website secara signifikan meningkatkan literasi kesehatan mahasiswa pada masa pandemi COVID-19 (p=0,031). Diperlukan edukasi serupa dengan sasaran lebih luas sebagai upaya meningkatkan literasi kesehatan dan penerapan protokol kesehatan dalam masa Pandemi COVID-19.
